Director, Prosecutions Unit
Robert Goldstein has served with the New York State Division of Human Rights since February 2009. As a Senior Attorney with the Division, he has litigated housing discrimination cases in New York State Supreme Court. He was promoted to Director of the Prosecutions Bureau in September 2012.
Prior to joining the Division, Mr. Goldstein was employed in general law practice, with an emphasis on civil litigation.
During law school, he was appointed to the Moot Court Board. He also completed internships with the New York State Attorney General's Office and New York State Police.
Mr. Goldstein received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Management.
