RONALD B. BRINN
Regional Director, Long Island
In October 2008, Ronald B. Brinn was appointed Regional Director for the Long Island Regional Office for the New York State Division of Human Rights.
Prior to joining the Division Mr. Brinn was Director of Public Affairs for the Queens Village Committee for Mental Health, where he was responsible of all intergovernmental, regulatory, media, and legislative issues for the non-profit organization. Mr. Brinn also served as the Director of HIV/AIDS Services for Article 28 Diagnostics and Treatment Centers, where he was responsible for the overall management of treatment centers in medically underserved communities. He participated in the Health as a Human Right 1999 World NGO Conference in Seoul and was part of the planning committee for the 2008 United Nations Human Rights Conference in Paris.
Mr. Brinn earned a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from York College of the City University of New York and an M.A. in Counseling and Psychology from New York University.
